There are many many reasons to check out creative studio MANY MANY. A creative collaboration between Stephanie Poole and Rachel Elliot-Jones, MANY MANY operates between art, design, architecture and publishing. The duo collaborated on an exhibition, HOUSE WEAR, some years past. The show was an investigation into the impermanency of everyday life. It was a visual study of nomadic behaviour and human design constructs. It addressed the conditions of impermanence in everyday life and its affect on contemporary design. The exhibition has become the basis for their newest publication of the same name. Hello potential Christmas present for myself! Did someone say stocking stuffer? Santa, are you listening?

In two beautiful issues, the duo employ graphic design, fashion, music and photography in cataloging everything ephemeral. The first HOUSE WEAR issue covered living systems, tribal practices, veranda histories, as well as home appliances and cyber dwellings. Whilst the second issue explores concrete terrains, makeshift forms, vibrations in colour, mobility aids and the ‘breadcessory’ (aka the most delicious of accessories: baked goods). What initially started as an exhibit has now become a platform for Australian artists and designers to respond and consider nomadic behaviour - the predetermined (out of necessity) and the discovery-driven (the result of choice).
